Gone Fishing

What a beautiful day it was here in west Texas.  I took the day off from cutting and grinding Fire Agate and went fishing with my good friend Frances King and my wife Suzanne.  Didn’t catch anything, and the boat broke down, but all in all it was a wonderful day.  Tomorrow I shall get back to work on my Deer Creek Fire Agate Rough for Cabbing and Jewelry making.  Hope you all will stop in and see some of my handiwork at www.deercreekgems.com and http://stores.ebay.com/HughesGemsAndMinerals.  We make afordable gifts for your dear ones. It’s Groundhog Day!

A beautiful day in West Texas

I can not believe this nice weather? I would love to be out in the mountians and hunting for any kind of rock or mineral or just a yard rock to take home.

I have been looking at rock for sale on the net, I can not find any thing that is good enough to buy that I think I might use in my jewelry.

If someone in Texas knows of a good place to rock hunt please let us know,
